Macro Lens Modules for Mobile Phone Cameras

Sunex, Inc. is pleased to announce a line of Macro Lenses specifically designed to meet the compact size demands of mobile camera applications.  Unlike fixed focus lenses, the MDL7xx, MDL8xx, and MDL9xx series macro lens modules allow the user to easily adjust the object distance from infinity to within 1-2 inches for close-up imaging.   

The unique design of the Sunex Macro provides a smooth transition from one focus position to another while preserving the alignment accuracy between the lens and the sensor.  The standard footprint is 11mm x 11mm which can be customized to suit the dimensions of the camera modules.  The height of the macro depends on the total track of the lens used.  We offer a range of compatible lenses with total track from 6 to 9mm.

The MDL7xx series is designed for 1/3” format 1.3 Megapixel CMOS sensors.  The MDL8xx series is designed for 1.3M to 2M resolution sensors.  The MDL9xx series is suited for 3M resolution sensors with up to a 1/2.5” format.
