Miniature Fisheye Lens for Megapixel Imagers

Sunex is pleased to announce the launch of our new miniature fisheye lens.  The DSL215 features a 185 degree field of view and resolution suitable for megapixel CMOS and CCD sensors.  Offering superior performance at a fraction of the cost and size of fisheye lenses currently on the market, the Sunex Fisheye is suitable for security, surveillance, automotive and specialty photography applications. 

Featuring dimensions of less than 20 mm diameter by 15 mm length the DSL215 offers superior optical resolution to similar C-mount lenses many times its size.  And because of its innovative design advantages, the Sunex Fisheye is significantly lower cost than the C-mount lenses currently on the market. 

The DSL215 features a 185° field of view with a relative aperture of F/2.0 for improved low-light performance.  For applications using near-infrared illumination the lens can be provided with antireflection [AR] coatings only.  For color imaging an IR cut-off filter can be integrated.
