High Resolution Lenses for 3 Megapixel Camera Modules

Sunex Inc. is pleased to announce the release of two new low-profile lenses for high resolution compact camera modules.  Both the DSL871 and DSL872 lenses are optimized for 1/3.2” format 3 Megapixel imagers. 

The DSL872 lens features a total track length of 6.7mm when a 0.3mm thick cover glass is used between the lens and the imager.   This lens is suited to building low-cost, compact digital cameras because of its low-profile lens design.  This lens has a 4.8mm focal length and a relative aperture of F/2.8.   

The DSL871 lens has high MTF across the field of view with a total track length of 7.0mm.  This lens has a focal length of 5.1mm and operates at a speed of F/2.8. 

The new Sunex Liquid Lens Auto-Focus Module and the Sunex Piezo-Actuated Auto-Focus Module both utilize either lens.
