Low Profile Lenses for 1.3 and 2 Megapixel Compact Camera Modules

Sunex Inc. is pleased to announce the release of a two low-profile lenses for Megapixel compact camera modules.  The DSL786 lens is a multi-element hybrid lens optimized for 1/3.4” format CCD/CMOS imagers.  The DSL951 lens is also a multi-element hybrid lens designed for 1/2.7” format Megapixel imagers. 

 

The DSL786 lens is especially suited for building low-cost, compact digital cameras because of the low-profile lens design.  This lens has a 5.0 mm focal length and operates at a speed of F/2.8.  The total track is 6.0 mm.

 

The DSL951 lens provides high MTF in a low-profile design, with a total track of 7.0 mm.  It is designed for 2 Megapixel CMOS/CCD imagers.

 

The DSL951 lens operates at F/2.8, and has a diagonal field of view of 60-degrees.  The geometric distortion is better than –1% and an infrared (IR) cut-off filter is also incorporated into the design.
