Miniature Day/Night Lens

Sunex is pleased to announce the release of a new Day/Night imaging lens for CMOS and CCD cameras.  The DSL322 combines several key features, making it an ideal lens for low-cost, compact security and surveillance applications.

The DSL322 is designed with a 120º field of view and will give a 90º Horizontal Field of View on a ¼” sensor with multi-megapixel resolution.  It is also very compact at just 20mm total track length.  Another key feature of this lens is its Day/Night optical design which maintains focus from visible through the near infrared for day and night-time imaging.  The standard version of the product is a true day/night lens, without an IR cut filter.  An IR cut filter or day/night exchanger can be added however, making this an extremely versatile solution.  See http://www.sunex.com/News/day_night_exchanger.htm or http://www.optics-online.com/irc.asp for more information.

The hybrid glass-plastic design allows the DSL322 to be a very cost-effective solution, delivering high-quality performance at a much lower cost than comparable lenses on the market.  This combination of features make the DSL322 an ideal choice for low-cost security systems that still demand high resolution, such as home and commercial security and monitoring.
