Visual Communication Lenses

Sunex Inc. is pleased to announce the release of two lenses for visual communication applications such as video conferencing, web cameras and gaming consoles.  One lens is a multi-element hybrid lens optimized for 1.3M CMOS or CCD imagers up to 1/3” format. The second lens is designed for 1/5” format VGA imagers and has a wide field of view with low distortion.  Both lenses are suited for building cameras for indoor video applications.

The DSL115 lens features a large F/2.0 aperture indoor applications and is optimized for high image quality for 1.3M sensors.  The focal length is 4.5 mm and the lens has a total track of 26.5 mm.

The DSL127 lens features an F/1.8 relative aperture and a wide 60-degree Horizontal Field of View on a 1/5” format sensor.  It has a 2.5mm focal length and a total track of 19.3mm.

An IR-cut filter coating is integrated in both lenses.
