Wide Angle Lenses for Automotive Rear Vision Applications

Sunex, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of two miniature, wide angle lenses designed specifically for automotive rear view or rear vision applications.  The DSL209 and DSL210 feature a compact design, wide-angle field of view and predictable distortion characteristics suitable for de-warping algorithms.

 The DSL209 is designed for CMOS sensors up to 1/4” format and VGA resolution.  The horizontal field of view of the DSL209 is 123 degrees on a 1/4” sensor.  The DSL210 is designed for CMOS sensors up to 1/3” format and VGA resolution.  The horizontal FOV of the DSL210 is 118 degrees on a 1/3” sensor.  The relative aperture of both lenses is F/2.0.

 Sunex Automotive lenses are designed to meet the stringent size and environmental demands of automotive vision applications.  To withstand a wide range of temperatures the lens construction is all aluminum and glass construction.  Both off-the-shelf lenses feature a small form factor of 20mm maximum diameter by 20mm total track with s-mount thread suitable for board mounted cameras.  For external applications, Sunex can seal the first element against the ingress of water and dust.  BBAR and IR cut-off coatings can also be integrated.  Please call with your custom housing or coating requirement.
